What an incredible night, as we were sitting in the audience I saw Paul O'Neil wandering around, checking things out. I grabbed up my nine year old son Anthony and introduced him to Mr. O'Neil. This in itself thrilled Anthony to death. We asked for his autograph, Mr. O'Neil responded by giving Anthony an autographed back stage pass, and an invite to sit upon the stage for the performance of 2 songs. Mr. O'Neil also invited up several other children. This was a thrill for those of us parents that accompanied the children, But Paul O'Neil gave those children a Christmas memory they will never forget. If anyone has pictures of the children on stage that night I'd really appreciate one. I would like to frame one with his autographed pass, ticket stub, and the guitar pick he got. And the show, it was spectacular. I saw the first live show in Philly last year and loved it, this year was even better. The lighting was top notch, and well suited for the venue. The sound was crisp and clean, and the vocals gave me chills. This group of musicians are one of the finest performing groups I have ever had the pleasure to see. TSO performed the Christmas eve and other stories album pretty much in it's entirety, along with a song from the grinch soundtrack, and several from Beethoven's last night. I would like to thank all the members of the group for an outstaning performace, and mostly I would like to thank Mr. O'Neil for his generosity, and kindness. Paul you are a true inspiration, and yes it is true that one can never under estimate the impact of a single act of kindness, What you did for those children is a lesson in kindness that i hope they will carry forever.

I was also one of the parents whose child went on stage. I saw this guy walking around upstairs and my daughter asked is that one of the guys in the band. It was 15 minutes to showtime and I said that I doubt it. Then the gentleman who gave the other reveiw here went up to this guy and started talking. They were right behind my seats so I listened in. Hey I was curious because it seemed this guy was giving the boy an autograph. As they were about to leave he said thanks Paul! With that I said to my daughter thats Paul O'Neil lets go meet him. I am familiar with his work for years with Savatage and TSO. She knew about him thru me. She said "you go, i'll stay here." I said "excuse me, I heard hi say Paul, are you Paul O'Neil?" He laughed and repled thats what their calling me this week! I gave him the usual kudos on his work and told him this was my daughters first rock concert. He waved at her and gave us passes to watch the last couple of songs on stage. I don't know who was more excited Paul or my daughter!! he stopped every child along the way to the stage. His positive energy is overwhelming!!!! TSO was/is great looking forward to seeing Savatage/TSO/Paul again! Thanks Paul I wish you all the best!
