well first of all......the main problem i have w/ guitar playing is speed......and while Summer's Rain has some quick parts, they are separated by long tones. so i dont have too much trouble. i DL'd the tab off the tab archive, and spent an hour or so a day (i have Gutter on tape so it takes time to rewind) going over it and trying to work it out. I've been playing about 3 years...a little less than that..it will be 3 years in april. if you're trying to learn it, i'm sure you will eventually. believe me...a lot of Criss's stuff i cant even attempt to play. i feel unworthy of playing such a cool solo, and im totally happy that i can do it. see ya
