Just a quick thought.
Even with advances, record deal and possible future Savatage income..it comes no where near what kind of money Jon would make working on projects like "Romanov". If Jon was doing it for money..then a progressive metal band is not how he would accomplish it. He admitted in an interview, that Romanov paid him more money than any Savatage project ever has.
He is trying to keep the music alive..
