A good example of this is Bruce Dickinson. Geez, he said in an interview that he lost something like $100,000 or so on the US Accident tour and payed for most of it himself. Now, because the label won't foot any of the bill, he isn't going to tour the US at all for Chemical Wedding. Too bad, because that was a show I was looking forward to seeing.
