Seneca is right saying that simply Heavy Metal is something different and that in front of the stage, there must be something going on.
I can remember a Helloween-concert last year.
The first ten meters in front of the stage, standing unmoved was bearly possible ... but as I said, this is Heavy Metal.
Nevertheless, ear-plugs are absolutely necessary.
I've been to my first Dream Theater concert without these helpful friends.
Driving there, I said "Not so lound" when the car-radios had been at a volume of 15. On the way back home, I screamed "Louder, Louder ... I can't hear anything" at a volume of 25.
It took me three complete days to recover my ears.
By the way. How gravely my ears are hurt after a concert, I can always conclude from the sound the toilet-flush seems to make. Does anybody think the same of it?
